When did you start working at Beta Systems? Why did you choose Beta Systems back then?
I have been working at Beta Systems since August 1, 2022, and I became aware of Beta Systems through a professional network. I decided on Beta Systems for two reasons. Firstly, I bring experience from an international corporation due to my commercial training. Secondly, I find the software industry very exciting.
What are your tasks at Beta Systems?
My responsibilities include budget planning for the costs of companies within the Beta Group. I am also involved in preparing detailed analyses, including target/actual comparisons. Additionally, part of my role involves generating comprehensive financial reports tailored for the directors and team leaders.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
A typical workday involves a dynamic mix of financial analyses, budget planning, and generating reports to contribute to the financial health of the Beta Group.
Office or home office?
I find a balance between office and home office environments, appreciating the flexibility to choose both settings.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The most enjoyable aspect of my job is examining various companies from a financial perspective, offering me valuable insights into diverse organizational structures.
What do you particularly appreciate about your colleagues?
I like that all colleagues address each other informally. This fosters a pleasant atmosphere at work.
What qualities do you need for a job in your field? What challenges are there?
A significant challenge in this job is consistently questioning matters from a commercial standpoint while keeping an overview of the overall financial situation. Communication skills are also crucial because we often need information beyond existing data sources. It is also advantageous to handle large amounts of data efficiently, which are required for our analyses.
